A 73,000-square-foot building at a key location in New Center has sold to a Detroit-based nonprofit that will use it for expanded youth programming. The building at 7375 Woodward Ave., just north of West Grand Boulevard, is now owned by Franklin-Wright Settlements Inc., a community nonprofit, following the sale closing on Wednesday. A purchase price for the former Woodlow Building, sitting at the northern terminus of the M1 Rail line running from downtown to New Center, was not disclosed.
