REI has guided Italian auto supplier Tiberina Group in all aspects of the firm’s entry into the North American market: site identification, negotiation and acquisition; development, economic incentives; government relations; site entitlements; and employee recruitment. Phase 1 involves construction of a new 75,000 square foot hot stamping facility on a 10-acre site. Initial plant output will consist of “B-pillar” aluminum components for passenger vehicles using the company’s patented U-form technological process. The facility will be designed with the ability to expand in two successive stages of at least 75,000 square feet each.
