NEW VALEO FRONT END MODULE ASSEMBLY FACILITY

REI was the lead real estate consultant for Valeo Inc.’s completed 75,000 sf (7,000 sqm) build to suit facility in East Liberty, Ohio. REI oversaw every aspect of the pre-development including site selection, plant specification development, environmental testing, lease negotiation, developer evaluation and selection. REI also acted as project manager for the facility overseeing both the developer’s core and shell contractor as well as supervising and executing all of Valeo’s interior improvements.

• Adhered to a rigorous, technical search process despite the numerous changes within Valeo’s project team.

• Conducted a thorough review of the available options and proposed innovative, cost effective solutions. Selected build to suit developer after establishing selection criteria and project requirements.

• Worked to mitigate obvious (permit approval) and nuanced risks (confirmed OEM’s approval of the proposed new building sites since the local government would not provide permitting without it).

• Completed the facility on time and under budget in less than 8 months.
